basically this is a place where i post cool stuff i find and random thoughts i have. it's like my life inspiration. this is my life.
These are sites that keep me occupied when I have nothing better to do.
1. Lamebook (www.lamebook.com) - people submit screenshots of lame status updates, wall conversations, photos, etc they find on Facebook. It gets updated several times a day. My goal is to find something good on my news feed to submit to Lamebook….unfortunately I have not accomplished this yet.
2. Fun With Yahoo Answers (fwya.tumblr.com) - This kid asks ridiculous questions on Yahoo Answers and posts screenshots of the answers he gets. It seriously made my day when I found this site. I’m a huge fan of trolling Yahoo Answers, I just can’t do it myself because I can never think of any good questions. I seriously admire anyone who can. Some of the questions (and answers) on this site are hilarious.
3. Yahoo Lulz (community.livejournal.com/yahoo_lulz) - On the Yahoo Answers note, this is a LiveJournal community where people post the stupidest questions they find on Yahoo Answers. Some of them are trolls, but….the scary part is that some of them are legitimate questions.
4. PostSecret (postsecret.blogspot.com) - Many people probably already know about this, but it is a program started by this guy as a project, in which he asked people to send him secrets, anonymously, on postcards; they can be as creative as they want. He has published books with some of these secrets, and he also posts some on this site. It is updated every Sunday.
5. FailBlog (failblog.org) - It is basically what it says…people submit various videos, pictures, etc of humorously stupid/messed up situations. Otherwise known as FAIL.
6. Engrish (engrish.com) - People post signs and other things they find, usually in Asian countries, where the people who made it attempted to translate what they were saying to English, but failed…making them humorous.
7. Craigslisting (craigslisting.tumblr.com) - This guy answers ads on Craigslist with ridiculous responses. Unfortunately he hardly ever updates. [Also similar: www.dontevenreply.com]
8. Youtube (www.youtube.com) - No explanation needed.
9. Cracked (www.cracked.com) - Funny articles and videos and stuff - pretty self-explanatory.
10. Project Playlist (www.playlist.com) - For some music while you do everything else! :)
Aww, this is sweet…
This is what I think of Facebook quizzes.
1. a hot shower after a long winter day.
2. the vibration of a cat purring against your feet.
3. the smell and warmth of clothes fresh out of the dryer.
4. doing something you were afraid to do…and succeeding.
5. reading a really good book.
6. road trips.
7. laughing so hard you can’t breathe.
Falling Slowly by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova
From the movie Once — I just watched it. It was just an okay movie, but I love the music.
